The MEGA Impact - One Year On
Free Webinar

Tuesday 17 November 1.00pm to 2.00pm

Panel Discussion with Manufacturing /Engineering Leaders from Mid Ulster

The MEGA (Manufacturing and Engineering Growth Advancement) Network officially launched a year ago at a packed Invitational Engagement Event in the Glenavon House Hotel, Cookstown.

Since then the Covid-19 Pandemic has dominated 2020 and, while it may have prevented a planned follow up gathering at the venue, MEGA will host an intriguing ‘One Year On’ Virtual Conference on Tuesday 17th November from 1pm-1.45pm.

This free event is part of Mid Ulster Enterprise Week and provides an excellent opportunity to hear about the significant progress and developments made by the network in the past 12 months, including the decisive positive impact made during quite a challenging period.

Well-known local presenter and singer, Malachi Cush, will again compere proceedings with a live Q&A with an expert panel including guest speaker Pat O’Neill (Founding member of Powerscreen).

The MEGA vision is that Mid Ulster manufacturing & engineering companies will have a successive pipeline of skilled talent fit for industry needs.  Strategic collaborative work will ensure that the immediate and long-term skills shortages are addressed to progress the growth and advancement of the manufacturing and engineering sector in the Mid-Ulster area.

Join online to hear how this vision and purpose has been put into practice and what it could ultimately mean for the Manufacturing and Engineering sector in Mid Ulster as the network continues with planning and development into the future.

During a challenging and uncertain backdrop as that created by the Covid-19 Pandemic, this is an excellent opportunity to hear from Industry experts at the heart of an already reputable collaborative group of Companies  who are making an indelible mark on the future strategic direction of skills, training and talent development for the industry as a whole in the area.
