Tourism NI (TNI) is the Data Controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the personal data it gathers for the purposes of your registration and participation in the Embrace a Giant Spirit online event.  You are consensually providing your personal data to TNI whose lawful basis for processing is for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest.

Personal data is being shared with ND Events who are facilitating these events on behalf of the TNI.  Your personal data may be shared internally within TNI with staff who are involved in managing these events and where necessary, between internal departments with the purpose of supporting an effective delivery of service.

Your personal data will not be shared or disclosed to any other organisation without your consent, unless the law permits or places an obligation on TNI to do so.  Personal data is held and stored by TNI in a safe and secure manner and in compliance with Data Protection legislation and in line with TNI’s Records Retention and Disposal Schedule.
