ND Events is delighted to announce the launch of Lisburn & Castlereagh Restaurant Week 2015 that will take place from Saturday 31st October – Saturday 7th November.

Lisburn & Castlereagh Restaurant Week aims to encourage residents, local businesses and visitors to eat out and promote Lisburn and Castlereagh as a quality dining destination that provides first class service, hospitality and value for money. It is proposed that for a one-week period, restaurants will be encouraged to participate with special discounts, themed evenings, music and entertainment.

Lisburn & Castlereagh Restaurant Week offers marketing support and promotion to the local hospitality sector and the initiative will aim to increase footfall and create awareness of the quality food and drink offering within the Lisburn and Castlereagh areas. In return for the restaurants’ participation, significant PR will be generated, thereby encouraging new patronage and future prosperity to the Lisburn & Castlereagh hospitality sector.

The main sponsor of Lisburn & Castlereagh Restaurant Week is Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council. Chairman of the Development Committee, Alderman Allan Ewart highlights why the Council is backing Restaurant Week 2015:

“Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council is delighted to act as the main sponsor of Lisburn & Castlereagh Restaurant Week 2015. Last year was the inaugural year of Lisburn Restaurant Week and we wish to build on its success aiming to have an even greater impact on the local restaurant scene and showcase the vibrant and bustling hospitality sector we have to offer. We are also delighted that we can now include Castlereagh in this initiative and therefore introduce an even greater variety of food and drink offerings. I would urge all restaurants and cafes to register to take part in this free event, and I personally look forward to sampling some of your delicious dishes during what will be a fantastic week for our local hospitality industry.”
